Seattle’s Eastside is a blog about the towns and cities east of Lake Washington with a particular emphasis on residential real estate. The authors are Glen Ellis and his daughter, Sherrill Kraakmo, both realtors with the Bellevue office of Keller Williams Realty.
We’ve lived on the eastside for over 25 years and have watched as it has been transformed from a quiet suburban area to a bustiling extension of the vibrant city of Seattle. All the wonderful things that Seattle offers are easily available with a short drive over one of the two floating bridges. However, it really isn’t necessary to go to Seattle anymore unless you really want to because nearly everything that Seattle offers is available on the Eastside.
We will explore the culture, opportunities, recreation, entertainment, economy and real estate and comment on it as we see it. Of course, we love to get feedback and look forward to hearing from you.
